The Protective Face Shield is a personal protective equipment device for protection of the facial area and associated mucous membranes (eyes, nose, mouth) from splashes, sprays and spatter of body fluids. Face Shields are generally not used alone, but in conjunction with other protective equipment, like a Seamless Protective Wool Face Mask
The Protective Face Shield is crafted from .015” thick PET plastic film, one of the most common plastics available. The Face Shield is 12” wide and 9.75” in height. There are three Vinyl Loops with Metal Clips along the top of the Protective Face Shield that can be attached to your hat’s brim or to your glasses.
Follow the directions below to use your Protective Face Shield:
To attach the Clips to the Protective Face Shield:
- Snap the Vinyl loop of 1 of the clips into the single center hole of the Protective Face Shield
- Next, you will snap the 2 other Vinyl loops on either end of the Face Shield using the outermost of the 3 positioning holes
- You must use all three clips in order for the Protective Face Shield to properly work
To attach the Protective Face Shield to your Hat:
- Attach the Center Clip to the Center Brim Edge of the hat (We recommend using on a Baseball Cap or Stiffer Brim hat)
- Wrap 1 side around outside diameter of brim, match the same approximate curve of brim and attach clip
- Repeat with other side of Protective Face Shield
- Top edge of Face Shield will be slightly above top edge of brim
- Adjust clips as needed for desired fit
To attach the Protective Face Shield to your glasses:
- Attached the Center Clip to your Glasses nose piece bridge
- Wrap 1 side around outside diameter of glasses and attached along earpiece,match the same approximate curve of glasses and attach clip
- Repeat with other side of Protective Face Shield
- Top edge of Face Shield will be slightly above top edge of glasses
- Adjust clips as needed for desired fit
