The Elara 8 Bretton by Helen Kaminski is beautifully crafted raffia crochet sun hat. The contrasting speck-like details on the brim give this style a playful look. The classic round crown is accented with a brim that can be turned up. It has a hand-rolled raffia string for size adjustment and a neoprene inner-band for added comfort. The Elara 8 is the same silhouette as the best selling Provence 8 and is rollable and packable.

Crafted from 100% sustainably harvested raffia. Helen Kaminski sources the finest, sustainably harvested Madagascan raffia to create their signature raffia wide braid. Their artisans create long, continuous coils by gradually feeding new strands of raffia into the braid so there are no visible joins.

Raffia has a natural resin making it innately soft, supple and resilient; Unlike straw, raffia has longevity and won't crack or get brittle over time.Spot clean with a soft damp cloth and simply trim any small flyaway fibers that may pop up over time.
